A brief background
I work as a Principal Engineer at Aviatrix Systems. Prior to this, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Fastly, where I worked on networking problems related to routing, traffic grooming, telemetry, and network infrastructure for Fastly's edge cloud points of presence. I have 9+ years of experience, and I leverage my PhD in Computer Science and my expertise in routing and network optimization to design and implement solutions that improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of large-scale networks.
In the past, I worked as Software Development Engineer on the NetOS Control Plane team at Amazon Web Services. I developed optimization features for BGP and OSPF to reduce convergence time, and supported IPv6 features within the system. I have also worked as a Software Engineer at Aruba Networks, where I designed and developed a controller in an SDN-based architecture that uses OpenFlow.
